Our High Schools will be hosting several sports camps during the month of June 2023. We invite our future Rattlers & Gators to join the fun as form, technique, and leadership skills will be the focus. Contact Information is available through each of the flyers provided. Additional camps for July will be posted in the near future. RGCGISD is excited for the future of RGCGISD Sports.
Our RGCGISD Athletic Department held several TEP sessions on June 2-3 that covered the Principles of CPR/ First Aid/ AED and also certified those participants by the American Health & Safety Institute. Those in attendance worked with infant, child, and adult hands on scenarios which included our coaching staff who coach UIL sanctioned sports at GMS, RMS, VMS, RHS and GHS. UIL mandates certification or recertification for every athletic coach every two years. We thank Regina Dorfmeister for an excellent presentation preparing our staff for emergency scenarios to assist our student athletes during the athletic seasons in 2023-2024.

AREA PLAYOFFS: RGCGISD and the Rattler Field at Ft. Ringgold will be the neutral host site for a 6A Area Baseball Playoff Series between Los Fresnos Falcons vs Laredo United Longhorns. Games 1 & 2 are scheduled to start at 7pm today & Friday while game 3 (if needed) will be on Saturday at 2pm. Clear bag policy will be enforced and digital tickets can be bought by scanning the QR code. Best to both teams during this playoff series.
